Arrival

So here I am in LA.

Nothing much yet to report. I had a journey. Most people have, so no real need to describe.

Was a long, long day. A started at 8am UK time and ended up nearly 24 hours later in a bar on Hollywood Boulevard drinking Guinness and discussing whiskey with a bouncer turned bar manager who is really waiting for his big break.

I suspect that he won't be the last person in that particular queue that I meet.

It's morning now, and I'm gathering myself to go shop.

Geek toys first, then clothes.
